Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary rescues abused farm animals then gives them love and care. We then teach children kindness and compassion to all living things through our animals.

Our Program

Our programs have an emphasis on children, but everyone is welcome. We share the history of each animal, their resilience and why it is important to show kindness and respect to others. Visitors will be invited to share hands-on time with the animals and experience the unconditional acceptance and healing that animals give naturally.

Education

We learn why roosters crow and why pigs love mud so kids gain an understanding of animals and have the opportunity to expand their empathy for all living beings.

Volunteers

We always welcome volunteers! You can help with maintenance, feeding, grooming, cleaning, rescues, tours, sit with new animals that need TLC, and much more.

Tours

We are open to the public every Sunday from 10am – 2pm, where you can come see our sweet animals. We also offer private and group tours by appointment.

Children trained to extend justice, kindness, and mercy to animals become more just, kind, and considerate in their relations with one another.

How to Help

Our animals are in need of donors to help sponsor their monthly feed, shelter, and veterinary care costs. By donating monthly or annually you can you help provide the necessary support the animals need.

Become a Member

Be a part of our mission of "Teaching People Kindness and Compassion to Animals, Each Other and our Planet" by becoming a member of Greener Pastures and a proponent of our cause. Your support will help us further our mission by making future animal rescues possible and allowing us to expand our outreach to future generations.

Sponsor a Group

A $400 donation can sponsor a group of children to come to Greener Pastures to learn kindness and compassion. A donation of $4,000 enables a group of children to participate in our twelve-month extended Peace Enhancement program. You can help a group of children who otherwise could not afford to come.
